Turtle Season Best in Seven Years
Even though nests were lost during the summer storms, the hatchling count was still a pleasant improvement over previous years. Read what the area monitors have to say about the numbers in their particular areas.
That was a very interesting read, Tootie. I am so glad the numbers are so thrilling this year - it is so rewarding for the hard work of all the the volunteers.
By the way...I loved this quote from the story: "Before Faye showed up and wandered around the state like a drunk.." LOL!

Yay!! I'm so glad that even with the lost nests, we had a great season. After the two bad storms we had, I was really worried.
