Cluster A Rescued Sea Turtle
Cluster, a sea turtle, was found sick on the beach in April. He was taken back to Canaveral National Seashore on July 7 since he was well enough to be released. His story is another reminder to not leave trash on the beach.
I have an old school friend who now lives near the canaveral seashore. She says people sit and watch turtles come up to nest, and that the turtles often turn back because of the viewers. They see a lot of false crawls. It's too bad that the turtle protectors can't be everywhere that people aren't smart enough to let nature be nature. It is amazing that so many of them manage to survive. Thank goodness for sanibel.
