The weekly email from our Permittee, informed us that there are two new nests this week.
They also included this picture taken Thursday of a nest hatching on the West End. I'm a little confused because it looks to be daylight and I thought the little turtles only came out during the night. I'll have to ask about that. Maybe they used a night vision camera, but it really doesn't look like it. Maybe confused little turtles??

#27 in Zone 6 at White Sands – 10’ west of White Sands boardwalk at the vegetation line
#28 in Zone 2 at Sanibel Moorings – in front of westernmost boardwalk 40’ from the vegetation line

Could it be reflection from a flash?Why not use a night scope?
