Twenty Three Sea Turtles Released Back Into the Wild

The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center on Topsail Island released 23 rehabilitated sea turtles back into the wild this morning. Hundreds of people were in attendance to help send the turtles on their way.

One of CROW's externs spent a couple of weeks at the Turtle Hospital in Marathon and put some pictures of one of their turtle releases on Facebook. Boy, that turtle couldn't wait to get out in the water and GO!!
